Look closely at a Motichoor Ladoo and you'll see it's not one sweet but thousands, tiny pearls of boondi, fried golden and soaked in syrup, pressed gently together until they hold. The name says it plainly: "motichoor" means crushed pearls, and there's something almost poetic about a sweet built from something so small.
It's one of India's most beloved traditional sweets, having found its way into poojas, temples, weddings, and celebrations across generations.
At Vasudha Foods, we bring this same tradition to you as prasadam. Every ladoo is prepared with care and offered with devotion before it reaches you, because here, food isn't simply made, it's first offered.
"If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, I accept that offering."
Bhagavad Gita 9.26
From the House of Hare Krishna, this Motichoor Ladoo comes to you as prasadam, made with tiny besan boondi, ghee, sugar syrup, and devotion.
What Goes Into It
Besan Boondi
Tiny golden pearls of gram flour, giving the ladoo its signature texture and delicate bite.
Ghee
Bringing richness and tying the traditional flavours together.
Sugar Syrup
The binding thread that turns loose boondi pearls into one soft, familiar sweet.
More Than Just a Sweet
Motichoor Ladoo has sat at the centre of pooja thalis and temple offerings for generations, first offered with devotion, then shared as prasadam, carrying sweetness, prosperity, and devotion in equal measure.
That's the tradition we're continuing here. Prepared with care, offered with devotion, and shared with you as prasadam, every ladoo carries that same spirit.
